Mission Statement
The mission of Globally Preferred
Institute of Permanent Cosmetics is to teach students to provide clients with
the most thorough, professional, and sterile environment in the permanent makeup
and micro-pigmentation field. It is the primary purpose of Globally Preferred
Institute of Permanent Cosmetics for all of our students to enhance the quality
of life for themselves as well as their clients. Globally Preferred will remain
in the forefront of the industry standards so that we can teach our students
to provide clients with the safest, most superior state of the art technology
and the most effective permanent cosmetic techniques.
Employment Opportunities
We have seen a steady increase
in sales in the permanent makeup industry even through these tough economic times. We believe that aging baby boomers will
continue to spur market growth well into this next decade. Permanent makeup
is detailed work that requires training, experience, a steady hand and
an understanding of color theory. While there is a lot of growth
and employment opportunities in this field, Globally Preferred Institute
of Permanent Cosmetics does not guarantee employment or offer direct
contact with employers regarding prospective employment, career counseling
or job placement.
Location and Facilities
All classes will be held at one of our licensed
and inspected facilities. See Locations/Class Dates for a location near you. All
equipment and supplies will be provided for use during class only. A
refrigerator and microwave are available for bag lunches at most facilities and all locations
are close to restaurants and cafes. There are also convenient lodging
options available if necessary.

Manual
Student acknowledges that starting a career in micro pigmentation requires understanding their state and local health department regulations for permanent cosmetics. Globally Preferred Institute of Permanent Cosmetics is not responsible to obtain information concerning establishment or local permits/licenses. Student is required to contact their state or local health officials directly.
Setting a good foundation is where we begin. We cover the basics to start your training.
Machines – Learn about the different types of machines
used for the application of Permanent makeup.
Hand Tools – Learn about the different types of needles
that are used for the application of eyebrows & eyeliner.
Color Theory – Understanding Color Theory is one of
the main factors in developing a successful career in Permanent Makeup.
Applying color theory to the field of permanent makeup requires the knowledge
of pigment and skin tone = final results!
OSHA Standards – Get the latest information on governmental
regulations concerning sterilization & decontamination. Learn proper
procedures in setting up & breaking down your workstations. We also
cover MRI Safety, the dangers of Hepatitis C, HIV, blood borne pathogens & OSHA
Standards.
Business Practices & Marketing – In this portion
of the class we discuss “industry standards” for finding a good location,
setting up your business and what to pay or not pay for rent, sales and
how to service your clients during a consultation; networking & marketing;
the availability of support when you become a member of a national or
local permanent makeup organization.
Aftercare – Learning aftercare and the importance of
educating your clients on aftercare are discussed. An educated
client is a happy client.
Brow Design
In this lesson you will learn about the application of Permanent
Makeup to create Eyebrows.
Preparation - You will learn which topical anesthetics
to use to numb the brow and how you can save time and money by mixing
your colors and designing brow shape while waiting for client to numb.
Eyebrow Shaping – Learn the proper way to draw brows!
We instruct you in the proper techniques of placement, symmetry, and
choosing the best color for your client. As the beauty industry
has said for many years “brows are “sisters” not “twins”. We discuss
how to get your client to see their brows as a vital part of their whole
face, not just matching brows.
Application – You will work with your instructor on
performing an actual eyebrow procedure learning technique, stretching
and the difference between regular eyebrows and hair strokes eyebrows.
Eyeliner Application
Eyeliner may seem to be the hardest procedure to learn but once you
know the secrets of great eyeliner techniques you will see it is the
easiest and quickest procedure to perform.
Preparation – Learn all about the eyes and the structure
of the eyelid. The importance of using the correct topical anesthetics
and set up is emphasized.
Practice - You will practice the hand tool technique’s
rocking motion on practice materials until you learn the proper movement.
Application – You will work with your instructor to
perform an actual eyeliner procedure on a live model. It is absolutely
vital to a successful eyeliner procedure to understand stretching techniques. You
will go over these techniques as well as keeping your client’s eyes safe
and comfortable. You will perform the hand tool technique for your
eyeliner procedure.
Lip liner and Full Lip Techniques
Lip procedures have come a long way over the years; however, they
still are considered a process not a procedure. You will learn
the possible concerns with lip procedures as well as how fun and profitable
they can be.
Preparation – It is important that you and your client
have a full understanding of the lip procedure. You will learn
how the tissue of the lip is very different to work with than regular
facial skin with pores. Color theory is the most important part
of every lip procedure and we will discuss that in great detail.
Application - You will choose and mix the correct color
for your client as well as learn the various lip techniques and when
and why we choose each technique for optimum results.
Permanent cosmetics is no longer just for the rich or famous. This industry is here to stay and the baby boomers who make up majority of the population, have the expendable income and want to use it to feel better about themselves, are making it stronger each year.
It is our goal to train technicians from all over the world to learn the
finest techniques, the safest practices and to enjoy a career that is truly
personally and financially rewarding each day. If you like
working independently, spending your day doing gratifying and fulfilling
work both personally and financially, and enjoy interacting with different
people, this will be the best career move you ever made.

LLC in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you will learn the finest
techniques and business strategies in the field of permanent makeup, you

have the opportunity to practice and learn the skills necessary to complete
most national requirements.
